NEW ZEALAND // 40 page travel sketchbook. (april.2023)

27 page PDF of a 50 page 7.5x7.5" watercolor sketchbook I took to New Zealand in Spring 2023.

It starts on the tarmac at Vancouver airport, then takes off with the Urban Sketchers symposium in Auckland. After that, I leave town in a camper van and travel south through Wellington, across the Cook Strait by ferry, and then to the South Island's east coast to end in Lyttelton (outside of Chrischurch).

I used a lot of mixed media here, so much lots of texture and detail to be found in these pages. The spreads are really dense...maybe too dense! I squeezed a lot of drawings in. There was sooooo much beautiful stuff I wanted to draw, but not enough time to do it all justice.

This PDF is a direct scan; no pages have been edited. It is not high resolution but you should still be able to enjoy and appreciate the sketches.

Please under NO circumstances upload or distribute this PDF outside of this platform. Just look at it by yourself or with your loved ones. :)
